• Catch bugs, and other critters to help the ecologist understand the mysterious island of Platoland

• NPCs can provide resource and equipment quests!
• 🎣 Equipment items include fishing poles, woodcutting axes, and bug catching equipment
• Hats have been added to equipment items

• 📥 Amount can be specified when dropping an item!

• Every game of Platoland is different - with various critters to find and collect

👩‍💼 The Trader Joins the Island!

• 💎 Trade basic resources for precious ones
• 🎲 A new trade will be provided when an old one is completed
• 🤝 Further incentivize collaboration, as players have disparate trades they will individually value some resources over others

💎 Aquire Precious Resources!

• 💎 Precious resources have no current application, however they are the foundational resources for future systems

🪵 Harvest Wood!

• 🪓 Gather wood by chopping trees
• 👩‍💼 Trade with the trader along with fish for precious resources

⭐️ Various Ways to Win!

• 🏆 Trade with the fisherman or the trader to achieve a win

🎣 No More Greedy Fisherman!

• 🎣 only require 1 of each fish to upgrade your fishing pole and secure a win from the Fisherman

This week we've added the following to Platoland:

• You can now drop and pick up items! Before you turn in your fish, drop your extras for someone else.
• Each player who turns in all 124 fish during a session will win, players who don't, will not.

Welcome to Platoland v0.2.0!

We heard that you want more of a reason to chat with friends in Platoland. This update adds rewards for collecting fish and a way to "win" a round of Platoland. We've also separated the fishing locations to make fishing more deliberate, and reduce the frustration around not being able to get that last fish!

We've made the following improvements to Bloko, based on your feedback:

• Blocks are now placed more smoothly when dragged
• The tutorial has been improved to help new players understand how blocks must be placed with only one corner touching
• There is new background music
• A bug that caused the background music to only play after a long delay has been fixed
• Other miscellaneous bugs have been fixed
